Welcome to the Gary Millen Foundation Website The Gary Millen Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation, formed shortly after the untimely death in May 2006 of longtime Kennett High school teacher and coach Gary Millen. Throughout his life, Gary accentuated the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and commitment to excellence and leadership.The Gary Millen Foundation has raised close to $1,000,000 to support the construction of the Gary Millen Stadium at Kennett High School. In addition to the stadium, the Foundation has supported the building of a competition field for soccer and field hockey, dugouts for the baseball and softball teams, two additional tennis courts, as well as literary and cultural events at Kennett High School. The Gary Millen Foundation continues to support identified needs at Kennett High School and is currently fundraising for the cost to purchase and install solar panel-powered, wireless, electronic scoreboards for the playing fields in front of Kennett High School.
